After lunch, drive to the ruins of Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, to see the colossi of Ramses II and the beautiful Alabaster Sphinx. Finish your tour at Saqqara, the first great necropolis, which has the first pyramid built in the world, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. Go back to the hotel and stay overnight in Cairo.

Our tour guide will pick you up to start your trip to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), also known as the Giza Museum, a major archaeological museum located near the Pyramids of Giza.
Overview:
*Location:
Approximately 2 kilometers from the Giza Pyramids, on the outskirts of Cairo

*Size:
It is anticipated to be the largest archaeological museum in the world, with around 100,000 artifacts on display. Right now it holds the most important treasure found in the world: the Tutankhamun tomb, which Howard Carter found in 1922 in the Valley of the Kings. The treasure collection includes more than 3500 masterpieces of antiquities.

Then drive to the Citadel of Salah Eldin, which was built in 1173 to protect Cairo from the Crusaders and which houses the masterpiece Turkish Mohamed Ali Mosque. Then have your lunch. After that, visit Old Coptic Cairo: the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, which is known as the Holy Crypt Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Finish your tour in the heart of old Islamic Cairo at Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
After finishing, go back to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, early in the morning, drive to Alexandria, 220 km north east of Cairo, which takes around 3 hours. Your first sightseeing stop is the Catacombs, a tomb complex built between the 2nd and 4th centuries by the Romans and excavated by accident in 1900 AD. It is one of the largest necropolises. After finishing, 2 km from the Catacombs, you will find Pompey’s Pillar. Pompey’s Pillar is a Roman triumphal column and one of the largest of its type constructed outside the imperial capitals of Rome
and Constantinople. Then drive to the shore of Alexandria, to the spot of one of the seven ancient wonders, the old lighthouse, which collapsed completely and was replaced by Qaitbay Castle, which was built in the 15th century. Enjoy walking around the outside. After this, you will have a chance to take a picture of the famous Abu-Alabbas Al-Mursi Mosque. Drive across the Corniche of Alexandria with one stop at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which is the number one library in the world and contains more than 8 million books.
