Itinerary

Welcome to the land of legends, Egypt. On time, due to the cruise ship arrival schedule, you will find the Egypt Tours Booking representative waiting for you in front of the Alexandria Port gate, holding our company sign with your name. To start your tour of Alexandria, drive to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a burial site used from the 2nd to the 4th century that was discovered by accident in 1900. About 2 km from the catacombs, you will reach Pompey’s Pillar, a Roman triumphal column at the Serapeum of Alexandria, about 27 meters high including its base.

Then drive to the shore of Alexandria, to the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built in the 15th century on the spot of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven ancient wonders. Enjoy walking around the outside. After that, have your lunch at a good-quality local restaurant.

Finish at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern library and cultural center on the Mediterranean shore, opened in 2002 in memory of the ancient Library of Alexandria. After finishing, return to Alexandria Port, according to the cruise ship schedule.
