Upon arrival in Cairo, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a representative who will assist you with entry formalities. Afterward, you’re transferred in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and recover from your travels.

After enjoying breakfast, embark on a guided tour to the awe-inspiring Giza Plateau, where the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos rise majestically, and the Great Sphinx stands watch. Visit the Valley Temple, an essential component of the ancient funerary complex. Later, discover Egypt’s vast heritage at The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), also known as the Giza Museum is a major archaeological museum located near the Pyramids of Giza.

Begin the day sailing to Kom Ombo, where you’ll explore the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to both Sobek and Horus the Elder. Visit the adjacent Crocodile Museum before returning to the ship. Continue onward to Edfu, where a horse-drawn carriage will take you to the Temple of Horus—one of Egypt’s most well-preserved temples. After exploring, return to the cruise to journey toward Luxor.

Following breakfast, cross to Luxor’s West Bank to uncover royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, resting place of pharaohs such as Ramses and Seti. An optional visit to Tutankhamun’s tomb is available. Next, marvel at the Temple of Hatshepsut, carved into the cliffs, and pause for photos at the imposing Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise vessel after the tour.
