Your Nile adventure begins as you step aboard the Steigenberger Legacy Nile Cruise in Luxor. After settling into your refined cabin and enjoying lunch, set out to explore two of Egypt’s most iconic temples on Luxor’s East Bank.

Begin at the immense Karnak Temple Complex, renowned for its vast size and the legendary Hypostyle Hall with its forest of towering columns. Admire ancient pylons, statues, and the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes before continuing to Luxor Temple. This temple, connected to Karnak by the ancient Sphinx Avenue, is celebrated for its elegant colonnades and massive statues of Ramses II.

Return to the ship for a relaxing afternoon tea, then savor dinner onboard. Overnight in Luxor.

Enjoy breakfast before a morning of discovery on Luxor’s West Bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings, where generations of pharaohs rest in elaborately decorated tombs carved into the hillsides—optionally, step inside the tombs of Tutankhamun or Seti I for a closer look at their artistry.

Next, witness the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, with its grand terraces rising from the desert cliffs. Pause at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that once guarded a lost temple of Amenhotep III.

After returning to the ship for lunch, begin the journey towards Esna, passing through the famous lock before continuing south to Edfu.
