Itinerary

Your day begins with a comfortable pickup from your Aswan hotel. Journey north along the Nile to the impressive Temple of Horus at Edfu, an extraordinary structure dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Marvel at the massive pylons and vivid reliefs that illustrate legendary battles and rituals, including the dramatic defeat of Seth by Horus, as narrated on the temple’s walls.

After soaking in the artistry of Edfu, continue to the riverside sanctuary of Kom Ombo. This unique double temple is devoted to both Sobek, the crocodile deity of fertility and protection, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). The site’s elevated position grants sweeping views of the Nile, while inside you’ll discover ancient depictions of medical tools and religious ceremonies reflecting the duality of worship practiced here.

Following your exploration of both temples, unwind on the drive back to Aswan, where you’ll be returned to your hotel, having gained a deeper appreciation for Egypt’s enduring legacy.
